We drove to Alabama, got the kids enrolled in school, and Gregg went back to CT to finish the house.
Garrett started running with the cross country team - they started practices before school ended. This is a FALL sport - we were still in Spring here -they take sports VERY seriously in AL!
Sisters, sisters - Alaina and Rebecca started spending a lot of time at parks waiting for the big kids to get doe with activities like church and cross country.

Alaina had a field trip to De Soto Caverns - a huge cave with a sort of theme area all around it - she got to pan for jewels and wear a tye-dyed shirt that a friend lent her so she would look like the rest of the class. People here are so nice and helpful - Alaina was given folders and notebooks from friends too so I wouldn't have to buy school supplies for one month :)
