Halloween Part 2

WARNING: THESE IMAGES MAY CAUSE DIZZINESS
Did you know that Minions have the super ability to be blurred in EVERY halloween photo?
It's true.
Whoa! What happened to our minion?
Apparently, he can't stay still long enough for a photo op for me or Kathryn -
but here he is in all his blurry glory -
Dave the Minion
aka Garrett the unphotographable

And Kathryn the Beautiful Kat

Kat and her Sunday School teacher/YW leader

Alaina after the YW face painting booth

(note the blurry yellow elbow successfully missing the photo again)

Rebecca sports another YW masterpiece from the face painting booth
(with the ugly 'I don't like those colors, don't know what to do next' test paints
on our kitchen wall behind her)

Halloween, part 1

Rebecca loves her preschool class - they had a very fun Halloween party complete with a parade through the park - Thanks to my friend Gailynn for the photos! The whole class and teachers.
My cute little witch! She told everyone she was Dori the witch - remember those books?

Parading through the park.

Kat the cat and her good friend Anna the Soccer Champ

Kathryn's pumpkins - a cat and a candy bowl

All of the pumpkins with flash, I need some photography classes . . .

Rebecca's cute winking jack-o-lantern. We carved them at our good friends' home and the kids actually did a lot of the carving themselves. It was tons of fun - maybe next year too Lauren?

Garrett's big ear-ed Cyclops - he did this totally free hand, no pattern, no lines drawn on the pumpkin, just carved it out and he was done first too!

Alaina's cat and Rebecca's

Alaina was a beautiful angel - this is at her ballet class -
yes we're in dance again :) She loves it!!

When Kathryn gets home we'll download photos from her camera so you can see more of her and Garrett the minion Dave from Despicable Me
Happy Halloween!

Finally - Garrett's Soccer Games

Go team!

This is how Garrett's sisters watch his soccer games: Hanging from the bars,

making new friends (of course, Alaina can't go anywhere without doing that),

And climbing on rocks .

Congrats Garrett! He got a Jamboree medal and a trophy (that he loves) for the year.

I mentioned in the last post that I have been remiss in taking photos of Garrett -
I took some - finally - at the last couple of games
when I wasn't wrapped in a blanket on the sidelines -

but I also got lucky and another mom sent some photos for us :)

A few of the games were in really cold weather So I huddled on the sidelines, and Garrett stayed in his warm up pants and long sleeves.

Awesome team this year!!! Garrett is standing second from the left. They won all but one of their regular season games, and then in the Jamboree (mulitple quick, short games) they won one, tied one, lost one.

Defense potions were his favorites - especially stopper (which I'm told is called something else normally that I can't remember - I don't know much about soccer)

We played in our town and one that is about 40 minutes away - it made for long Saturday mornings, but they were beautiful fields.

It almost looks like Oregon instead of New England because of the evergreens . . .

I'm so glad he had so much fun,

but I'm also enjoying this beautiful Saturday morning with no schedule :)

yea! Soccer is over!

Until next year . . .
