Garrett's Scouting in Action

This was how Garrett spent his time at Grandma and Grandpa's house -

Proving his lashing skills, climbing skills, and singing skills - he sat up there and sang songs from Phantom for hours without anyone to tell him to be quiet :)

We sure do love our Goofy kid :)

Thanksgiving in CT

We were lucky enough to be able to go back to CT to spend Thanksgiving with family and friends there.

It was so nice - Grammy always sets such a nice table -

REAL Apple Cider - one of our favorite parts

Wish I had taken a picture while we were sitting - best part was being with Gary and Doris.  We really miss Grammy and Grandpa!

And of course - ridiculous amounts of pie afterward!
The Sanville kids and Rob - LeeAnne was sick :( - joined us for dessert.

So good to be with friends!  The kids got to see a few others as well - I didn't get photos.  Thanks Elwoods and Singers and Gerlachs and Phillips!  So sad we could not get ahold of and see everyone!

Rebecca looks tired doesn't she?  She ate it all though :)  Happy Thanksgiving Y'all!!

Kat hates it when we say that :)

Picture Says It All

Bittersweet - but a relief...

Yay!!!

Basketball

Kathryn is playing basketball again this year - but this time she's on the JV team at her high school.

It's a challenge, way more competitive than rec. ball in Ellington - it's fun to watch.

Halloween

We had so much fun this year!  There were tons of kids in our neighborhood, so lots of candy to give out, and lots of doors to knock on.  Before the big day, of course, the kids had a preview at our church's trunk or treat.  Since every year of their lives, our kids have had a 'trunk or treat' at Church, they don't really realize that 'trunk or treat' isn't mandatory :).  Thankfully this ward has one too.

 Supergirl!

They were a little disappointed that it wasn't a full carnival/ fall festival like we had with Becky White at the reigns the last few years in Ellington, but they enjoyed the night anyway...

Kit Kat :)

This was my favorite this year - Thompson and Thomson from the Tin Tin movie and cartoon series :)

I loved reading Tin Tin in Belgium, so when the movie came out, I got excited and pulled out my book (french) bought the kids some English versions of their own...  It was so fun to watch them enjoy it - and look at these two!  They really hammed it up.  Fun stuff.

While trick or treating in our neighborhood, everyone thought Garrett was Charlie Chaplin - he doesn't know who that is.  I'll have to show him someday...
