Beautiful girls and green tongues

Alaina and Becca are home with me while Kathryn and Garrett are at school. They are sneaking fruit roll-ups and want their pictures on the computer with green tongues - I am, of course always willing to oblige - it might be good for bribes later - so here they are!

Beginning in the Middle

Sometimes Once Upon a Time starts in the middle of a story. . .

Jumping right in, we had a busy week this past week, nothing spectacular, just life non-stop. Kathryn got to sing and share her drawing talents at a nursing home, Garrett had a field trip to Sturbridge Village that I got to go on with him, it was very fun - photos forthcoming, Alaina had photos taken at dance and had lots of practice for her upcoming rectial - photos forthcoming as well, Becca finally gave up diapers and is doing remarkably well considering the rocky start we had with that, Gregg spent time on tree work and his real job, I had fun at Sabrina Buckley's bridal shower . . .

And to top it all off I had a wonderful Mother's Day with a beautiful breakfast, roses, cards, and a new camera to record all the chaos with - HAPPY DAYS!!!

With all the wisdom of the world, no group thus far has been able to point the way for peace with the certainty that it is the way.

We … are fortunate to know that there is a way for peace that alone will produce results, and that way is to keep the commandments of God as revealed to the children of men anciently and in our day. If that way were followed, all the problems that are so serious in the world could be solved, and peace would come to this unhappy earth.

Though the world may be filled with distress, and the heavens gather blackness, and the vivid lightnings flash, and the earth quake from center to circumference, if we know that God lives, and our lives are righteous, we will be happy, there will be peace unspeakable... by going about doing good, we may have peace and happiness and prosperity.
