During Remodel

This is the mudroom.  All the wood paneling had to come off, trim painted, door changed, floors redone...this photo is looking toward outside.

Below is looking in toward the house.

The white siding is original, real wood -the rest of the house was redone in vinyl while Gary and Doris were there.  It all had to be torn off and sheet rocked.  This is the window that we took out too - and that blue door was changed.  Also the slanted trap door on the right to the basement we took out and made level so the mudroom could be more useable.

Remember the plaid couch and big painting on the wall in the last post?  This is the front room after wainscotting is taken off - look at the slats!  Lots of loose pellet like insulation fell out all over while this was being done - such a mess!  Thanks all of you that helped with it!

Looking out the front door - the window is out.

Looking in towards the living room.

Front door again.  I left shortly after this for Alabama to get the kids started in school.  We thought that Gregg's new job would start before school got out, so we wanted the kids to have at least a month in the new schools.  It didn't quite turn out the way we planned...
