Dinner Group - January

We started a dinner group in January. We have seven couples in our group and the first meeting was a murder mystery dinner hosted by Bill and Becky White.
The mystery was set at a ganster family wedding. We had wonderful Italian food and lots of fun dressing up and 'acting' out our parts. All the girls - LtoR Cara - sister of the groom, Lauren - maid of honor, Bethany - bride, Becky - mother of the bride, Kandi - bride's sister, Me - cousin of the bride, Andrea - the groom's mom and insurance agent.
Bethany and Curtis Bingham aka Becky and Stanley, Bethany played the main character, the daughter of a big gangster boss at her wedding. She was 'shot' and then became the inspector that helped us solve the crime. Don't they look like a real bride and groom?!? They were amazing.

The boys - LtoR David V the hitman, Matt the brother-in-law, Curtis the groom, Paul - the best man, Bill - mob boss and father of the bride, Gregg - groom's brother and the one who was accused of killing the bride, and David G - the mob boss's brother.
We had so much fun! Good food, good friends, thanks everyone!

Racing slides, that's Kat and Sadie at the top, digital time screen on the bottom left so you know for sure who won . . .

Kat beat Sadie by just a little bit, the bigger you are the faster you go in general . . .

This is Garrett's first trip down the Leap of Faith. It's actually a great shot, because when you zoom in, you can see his mouth wide open in a terrified scream.

See, So funny! Especially with the photo below . . .

it's over and he is totally psyched that HE DID IT!!!

Gregg and I haven't posed for a photo for awhile - Kat did a good job of catching us and making us sit for one. Gregg doesn't like it, almost made me delete it . . .

Rob took this one of all the kids. The colorful buildings in the background are the rooms we stayed in - Harborside VillageRob Sanville got this nice photo of Kathryn on the Lazy River ride - so much fun! Go to the Atlantis website if you are curious, it shows some great photos and videos of all the fun things to do there - we really had a blast.

Lounging by the pool in the wind. A few of the days were really chilly -
especially compared to two years ago. The kids still talk about it.
Rebecca asked us a few days ago, "If I eat all my food can we go to the Bahamas after dinner?"

Becca is four

Our birthday girl with the brother she loves and his cool marshmallow gun and dad's helmets . . .Later, we get ready for her birthday, Garrett lights the candlesRebecca opens all her presents while we eat her birthday dinner (she just couldn't eat or wait, so no photos of that). Then she poses with balloon strings and birthday tiara,
She contemplates her wish . . .
Blows out the candles in one blow, then says,

"I didn't wish for anything because I already got every present I wanted."
Thanks Grandmas, Grandpas, siblings, and friends!!!!!

She wanted a cake with "little strawberries that don't have any green stuff on them and green frosting." I wasn't quite sure what that meant - so this is what she got. She liked it I think, but she still asks me for the cake with the little strawberries for her OTHER birthday!
