This is pretty much how we spent our afternoons while we were in the apartment before school started. It was a long and frustrating time. Boring for the kids, except for pool time - they obviously loved that!
While they played, we would look on-line for houses, worry about what we would do when school started, and talk on the phone with realtors, banks, and friends.
Doris was with us for awhile, that was nice - she took these photos. She drove down with the younger kids and I. Gregg and Kat left to get Gregg started at work and Kat to Youth Conference for church. I stayed with the younger ones to finish some work on the CT house.
It's nice to be able to look back on this and remember the worry and yet know how well it turned out. It's nice to know that it was all in the Lord's hands. It all worked out, not just OK, but really really well.
The kids weren't too stressed I hope - they obviously enjoyed the weather and the water.
And now we are pretty much all settled in and getting ready for fall holidays - time flies!
