Big Day for Alaina

Alaina had a huge day! It was her birthday, she turned 8, so she was baptised by her dad.

It was a beautiful morning! She was just so happy! I love the photo below, but unfortunately Gregg closed his eyes, I'll have to swap his face from below with this later . . .

Everything went so well, my mom was here and gave the baptism talk, she had a good friend that was baptised the same day, so her grandmother gave the Gift of the Holy Ghost talk, and our friends helped bring a few things for a small get together afterward . . .

Our dear friend LeeAnne arranged some pretty flowers to decorate with . . .

It's great to be eight! This was the highlight of the day - but after this we hurried off to her dance rectial :) it's always something . . .

If that way were followed, all the problems that are so serious in the world could be solved, and peace would come to this unhappy earth.

Though the world may be filled with distress, and the heavens gather blackness, and the vivid lightnings flash, and the earth quake from center to circumference, if we know that God lives, and our lives are righteous, we will be happy, there will be peace unspeakable... by going about doing good, we may have peace and happiness and prosperity.
