Kat's Braces

Oops!  I forgot one major life event - for Kathryn anyway.  At the beginning of October she got braces!!!!

She's so beautiful!  Even with metal - her smile still lights up our home.  Keep smiling Kat!!!

Getting Ready for Halloween

It's that time of year again and though the air is not as crisp and cool here and the trees aren't as brilliant in their color changes, we are happy to have the cooler nights and start in the traditions that make this time of year so fun!

They look great - can't wait to see what Garrett and Kathryn come up with!

Carving pumpkins makes it feel more like fall - they smell so good and it was really fun to carve them out together.  The kids are getting so big - they do alot of the work... Gregg still gets his fair share though :)

They look good on the porch too - Garrett's is started, I'll post a close up when he's finished.

XC and the Mighty Garrett

This is how we spent our Saturday mornings in August and September. 

Garrett ran for his middle school - he was kind of forced into it and didn't love it - but he did well.

It's a really big team with a great coach and assistant coach and Garrett improved a lot over the season.

He has amazing persistance.  No matter how miserable he is, he just keeps running...

I'm so proud of him.  He has a lot of room to improve, but it was still amazing to see the progress he made.

The team took first place in their division, and second in the Metro Championships
