Cousins!

We drove to Colorado and Utah this summer to visit cousins. The kids had so much fun. While we were with Glenn and Michelle in Loveland, we visited the sculpture garden near their home.

This was a fun over the path, huge wishbone. It was so big I couldn't take a photo of it and the kids on either side pulling to see who got the wish :)

Becca's trying!

Alaina helped too -didn't break!

Kat and Heather try out the saddle

It was hot! Nicer in the shade - but this saddle wasn't in the shade -

Getting friendly with the natives...

Everyone had a list of things to find, favorite sculpture (Garrett loves dogs), sculpted the year you were born, CTR ring . . . It was a fun scavenger hunt.

Rebecca likes turtles

Kim and Becca

She's a brave one!

Found the CTR ring!

It's on one of these kids - Justin climbs on everything just like Garrett!

Riding the moose - it was in the sun and hot too!

Partial group shot - missing the older kids and Laina

Here she is :) our smiley, snaggle tooth girl!

Riding metal oragami horses

Kim, Noel, and Laina

They sleep so well after fun days like this!

Some of the kids slept outside in the tent - Garrett stuck his head out the doggie door - Uncle Glenn thought he was funny. It was a great trip and we loved seeing everyone. The drive was not as bad as I expected it would be - we listened to Harry Potter audiobook tapes and it actually helped the time fly by! Thanks to everyone who made us so comfortable while we were there! I have lots more photos to post from this trip. . . stay tuned!

Becca's Very Sad Last Day of School

Poor Becca! She loves school, loves her teacher Mrs. Connelly, and cried a few times during the last week of school. On the last day there was a party, complete with graduation caps and diplomas for the kids going on to Kindergarten. Rebecca was so unhappy . . .

Poor thing, yummy food, but she just couldn't enjoy it.

She only smiled when I begged her to . . .

They sang songs for us...

It was so cute. We discovered that on top of all the emotion, Becca was getting sick too. She had a fever later that day. I hope she likes Kindergarten as much!

Rainbows in CT

We live in a beautiful state! There are lots of trees, blue skies, sun, rain. . . I'm always looking for rainbows, but can never see them - there are lots of days when I can see rain and sun but for some reason, the rainbows are few and far between - So I had to take photos when I saw this one!

It was even double!
